Melbourne Trip

I'll be representing Charles Sturt University and myself at a private function held by IBM Digital Media in Melbourne next week. Invited will be guests of several game developers in Victoria.

I am looking forward to it as is going to be a GREAT opportunity for game developers to see what the Games Technology degree has to offer them, and the outstanding programmers it produces. Hopefully this may open up opportunities for industry placement and employment for the third and fourth year students.

I'm going to be showcasing a few of the demo's created by the RAGE Team, while other students there will be showing their own demo's and a few of the Honors projects.

I am very HAPPY today for ONE reason =D. Today I found out that a paper I helped write for IE2005 was accepted by the committee. The paper was on the RAGE project that I work for.

I am SOOOO EXCITED =D.
